Admiring Digital Innovation, IAIN Ponorogo's Library Signs MoU with UIN Jakarta's Library
UIN Jakarta Library, News Online - Digital transformation in the library world continues to advance rapidly. Last Thursday (3/10), IAIN Ponorogo Library, led by Alwan Wibawanto, S.Th.I., S.IP., M.E., paid a working visit to UIN Jakarta Library to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) related to digital library development. This visit was not only a knowledge sharing event, but also an inspiration for IAIN Ponorogo Library in its efforts towards digital library transformation.
Alwan Wibawanto along with six librarians -Asnah Yuliana, S.H., Mujiati, M.E., Eny Supriati, S.IP., M.Pd., Antis Rachmawati, S.Sos., Fransisca Puspitasari, S.IP.Pust., and Dwi Eliana Sari, S.IP.- and library manager Ali Mustofa, M.E., admitted that they were amazed by the progress of digital technology implemented in UIN Jakarta Library.
“We are very impressed with the advances in digital technology implemented at UIN Jakarta Library. These innovations really open new insights for us to develop digital technology at IAIN Ponorogo Library,” Alwan said enthusiastically.
UIN Jakarta Library, under the leadership of Agus Rifai, Ph.D., warmly welcomed the arrival of the Library Team from IAIN Ponorogo. “We are very pleased to receive a visit from IAIN Ponorogo Library and hope that this collaboration will strengthen our commitment to improving digital literacy for academic purposes in Indonesia,” said Agus Rifai, when welcoming the arrival of the IAIN Ponorogo Library Team in the 3rd floor meeting room of the UIN Jakarta Library building.
Please note, UIN Jakarta Library has made several digital innovations in the development of Digital Library technology, including ‘Touch & Go Mobile Library’ and ‘AI-ChatLibrary’. 'Touch & Go Mobile Library' is a digital library service to access library collections quickly through mobile devices (accessible in the App Store version and Windows version). While 'AI-ChatLibrary' is an artificial intelligence-based virtual assistant that helps visitors access information quickly and efficiently through conversation platforms and chatbots.
With this MoU, it reinforces and becomes clear evidence that the library is not just a place to store books, but a center of innovation that continues to develop to improve digital literacy in Indonesia. *RMr
