Foreword by the Head of the Library

Assalamu'alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

The academic journey is a journey full of colors and challenges. With all humility, the Library Central of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, wants to be part of this academic journey. We believe that a library is not just building; it is the heart of the academic space where we must be an active and contributive part in every collaboration and intellectual interaction between librarians, students, lecturers, researchers and the entire university community.

Our vision of "Library Anywhere" is a commitment to ensuring that access to library resources can be achieved from anywhere and at any time. We. the entire library team, are dedicated to being the main driver in facilitating library users in utilizing available information resources, as well as helping academics prepare the skills needed for academic activities and become independent learners.

To create an academic atmosphere at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, the library strives to be the main choice, a place for academics to do research and learning. In the library, atudents, lecturers and reseacrchers can explore the world of science together, find necessary sources of information, and support the growth of critical and innovative thinking. In addition, we not only provide access to a variety of printed collections and digital resources, but also provide support in providing academic skills such as reading, writing, research and understanding information effectively for the entire academic community. Like an academic exhibition space and gallery, through the library, inspiring scientific works of art will be displayed that reflect academic achivements, and become a place to celebrate the creativity of each individual in an academic environment.

We realize that in each of these roles, libraries can be bridges that connect people with knowledge, provide a platform for intellectual growth, and encourage collaboration between individuals in the production of knowledge and creating new innovations. A library is not only a place to find information, but it is also a place where the growth of knowledge, skills, and intellectual exploration occurs. We are determined to continue supporting academic developmnet, collaboration and innovation for the entire university community.

Our Commitment is that the library is more than just a collection of books or sources of information, but is a partner of the academic community in an enjoyable and productive academic journey.
