UIN Jakarta April 22, 2024 - Enthusiasm and preparation have been rising among the big family of State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta ahead of the Halal Bihalal 1445 H/2024 M event which will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. The event is planned to be held at the Harun Nasution Main Auditorium, the main campus of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

With the theme “Knitting Ukhuwah, Achieving Progress: Together Realizing UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta with Global Reputation", this event is an important moment for the entire academic community to strengthen the relationship and build a spirit of togetherness in achieving a common vision.

The speaker for this event is Prof. Drs. H. Mohammad Nasir, Ak., M.Si., Ph.D, who served as Minister of Research Technology and Higher Education in the 2014-2019 period, is scheduled to give an inspirational talk that explores the importance of collaboration and solidarity in achieving the progress of educational institutions.

Prof. Nasir (currently Commissioner of Bank Syariah Indonesia) will also share his experiences and insights on how UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta can transform into a globally competitive educational institution, while still maintaining a strong Islamic identity and values.

In addition, this Halal Bihalal event will be attended by Prof. Dr. AG. KH. Al-Habib Muhammad Quraish Shihab, Lc., M.A. who is an Indonesian Muslim scholar, and was also the Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (then IAIN Jakarta) for two periods, from 1992-1996 and 1997-1998 before becoming the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in 1998.

Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, MA. Ph.D revealed “Halal Bihalal event is not only a tradition, but also an opportunity to strengthen the brotherhood among the entire family of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta in realizing a common vision as a leading educational institution with quality and ethics,” said Prof. Asep.

This Halal Bihalal 1445 H/2024 M event is expected to be a valuable momentum for the entire Big Family of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta to strengthen each other, strengthen bonds, and knit togetherness in achieving common goals. (RMr)
