UIN Jakarta Library Connects with 500+ World Libraries through RAPID ILL: 'Richer Collections, Wider Connections'
UIN Jakarta Library, News Online - August 22, 2024 - State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Library is now further strengthening its role as a center of information and knowledge by joining RAPID ILL (Rapid Interlibrary Loan). This strategic move not only expands access to academic resources for students and faculty, but also establishes UIN Jakarta as part of the growing global library communication.
RAPID ILL (Rapid Interlibrary Loan) is an application system (software) for information access services and e-resources requests (articles, journals and books) from various scientific fields between libraries in the world. More than 500 libraries worldwide have joined RAPID ILL, enabling interlibrary users to access the e-resources they need.
Head of UIN Jakarta Library, Agus Rifai, Ph.D., stated, “Joining RAPID ILL is part of our commitment to support academic and research needs at UIN Jakarta. This is a step forward in our efforts to provide the best service to the entire academic community.” When met in his office, before opening the Librarian Learning #series3.
