The Lajnah, which is under the auspices of the Ministry of Religoius Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), presents a strong Quranic educational atmosphere through a number of collections and interactive digital platforms. One of the main attractions of this booth is the presence of the Thematic Tafsir, Ilmi Tafsir, and Ringkas Tafsir collections, which are curated directly by a team of experts from LPMQ.
Not only that, visitors are also treated to the history of the writing of the Qur'an from time to time, including the original manuscript of the ancient Qur'an from Aceh in the 19th century, which was written and decorated with traditional Acehnese motifs. This collection is the highlight of the exhibition because of its authenticity and high historical value.
This is amazing! This is the first time I've seen an ancient mushaf in person. The illumination is very beautiful,” said Lailatul Husna, one of the UIN Jakarta students who visited the LPMQ booth.

Seeing the enthusiasm of the students, the Bayt Al-Qur’an dan Museum Istiqlal (BQMI) team also directed visitors to continue their exploration to their location in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta, to see a more complete collection of mushaf. BQMI also opens opportunities for research and manuscript studies for students who are interested in deepening their knowledge of the history and study of the Qur'an.
