Rector of UIN Jakarta: Four Agenda of UIN Jakarta towards Global Reputation
Main Auditorium - April 23, 2024, "The Four Agendas of UIN Jakarta, part of shaping UIN Jakarta to be in the global reputation arena", said Prof. Asep Saepuddin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta in his remarks at the Halalbihalal event of the Academic Community of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the Harun Nasution Main Auditorium.
Green Campus, Rector emphasized UIN Jakarta's commitment to become a Green Campus. UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is committed to greening the future. Determined to contribute to sustainability, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta leads the green role through innovation and environmental awareness. Voicing concern for nature, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta combines Islamic values with concrete actions in an effort to preserve the environment (quoted from the Motto of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta).
Strengthening Independence in Business Context. UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is determined to strengthen its independence in business context. This includes the development of business units that can support the achievement of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta in the global arena. "UIN Jakarta will strengthen independence that will strengthen the business context, because without commerce, campus independence is difficult to compete," said Prof. Asep.
Strengthen Digitalization. In the current digital era, UIN Jakarta strengthens digitalization to ensure that all existing systems are well integrated to support academic and non-academic processes. "Not only that, UIN Jakarta will also strengthen digitization," he added.
Bureaucratic Reform. The Rector also emphasized bureaucratic reform to create better university governance.
The Rector ended his speech with optimism that these four agendas will bring UIN Jakarta to a global reputation. "Once again, this is what we are developing. Let's work together sincerely, strongly. God willing, success in the future will be seen. Without cooperation we cannot succeed, so this is the legacy of the founding fathers, let us develop it too," he added, when ending his speech.
