Ramadan Dzuhur Lecture: The Secret of Prayer Between Two Prostrations
UIN Jakarta Library Building, News Online - The prayer that is read when sitting between two prostrations in prayer turns out to have a deep meaning for the life of a Muslim. This was conveyed by Lismawarni Dewi, S.IP., in the Ramadan Dzuhur Kultum which took place on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, on the 3rd floor of the UIN Jakarta Library building.
In her talk, Lismawarni Dewi explained that this prayer is not just a routine recitation in prayer, but a form of supplication that covers various aspects of life:

In her explanation, Lismawarni Dewi emphasized that this prayer includes seven main requests:
- Forgiveness (Rabbighfir li) - Asking for the removal of sins and mistakes.
- Mercy (Warhamni) - Seeking Allah's mercy in every aspect of life.
- Self-improvement (Wajburni) - Requesting that any shortcomings be rectified by Allah.
- Glory (Warfa'ni) - Hoping to be given a higher rank in the sight of Allah.
- Guidance (Wahdini) - Seeking guidance to always be on the right path.
- Health (Wa'āfini) - Desiring physical and mental health.
- Rezeki (Warzuqni) - Hoping to be given a blessed and abundant sustenance.
Why should this prayer be practiced?
According to Lismawarni Dewi, this prayer reflects a servant's total dependence on Allah SWT. By understanding and memorizing it, a Muslim can be more solemn in prayer, and make it a daily prayer that can be practiced at any time.
