Good news for our friends at UIN Jakarta Library! To support the academic needs of students, lecturers and researchers, UIN Jakarta Library officially subscribes to five leading academic reference databases that can be accessed throughout 2025. This step is expected to further enrich the source of scientific literature for the UIN Jakarta academic community.

Agus Rifai, Ph.D., Head of UIN Jakarta Library, stated that this subscription aims to improve the experience of UIN Jakarta Library patrons in accessing quality references. “By subscribing to 5 databases in 2025, we hope to improve the experience of Sobat Perpus UIN Jakarta in accessing academic references at UIN Jakarta Library,” said Agus Rifai, when met in his office, 3rd floor of UIN Jakarta Library Building.

The five databases that can now be accessed by the UIN Jakarta academic community are:

1. JSTOR – Platform for academic journals and books across disciplines. Access link: https://www.jstor.org/
2. Emerald Insight – A primary source for research in business, management, and social sciences. Access link: https://www.emerald.com/insight/
3. ProQuest Research Library – Extensive collection of journal articles, magazines and research reports. Access link: https://www.proquest.com/pqrl
4. Cambridge Core – Publications from Cambridge University Press in various fields of study. Access link: https://www.cambridge.org/core
5. Oxford Academic – Academic journals and books from Oxford University Press. Access link: https://academic.oup.com/journals?login=true
