UIN Jakarta Library, Press Release - State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Library presents another innovation in supporting digitalization and advancement of educational technology, namely AI-ChatLibrary. An artificial intelligence-based platform designed to facilitate information search, academic research, and preservation of intellectual literature. This step is part of UIN Jakarta's commitment in integrating modern technology to support education and research with global reputation.
Agus Rifai, Ph.D., Head of UIN Jakarta Library, stated that this initiative is a manifestation of UIN Jakarta Library's long-term vision in optimizing technology for academic needs. “With AI-ChatLibrary, we want to provide smart solutions for the academic community of UIN Jakarta to more easily access information and improve the quality of research results with global reputation,” said Agus Rifai when met on Tuesday (24/9) in his office.
AI-ChatLibrary, is an artificial intelligence (AI)-based innovation designed to make it easier to access information in the library through digital conversational interaction. This service allows students, lecturers, and researchers, to communicate with a smart chatbot that can answer questions related to book collections, journals, scientific articles, and other library services quickly and efficiently.
“Currently, AI-ChatLibrary is in the trial stage, which runs from September 15, 2024 to December 31, 2024. We invite all UIN Jakarta academic community to try this service and provide feedback for further improvement. Take this opportunity to explore our latest digital innovations and be part of the development of future library services,” said Agus Rifai.
