IAIN Ponorogo ‘Library Tour’: A Peek at UIN Jakaera’s Digital Innovation Library
UIN Jakarta Library, News Online - On Tuesday (3/10), Alwan Wibawanto, S.Th.I., S.IP., M.E., as the Head of IAIN Ponorogo Library, along with a team consisting of six librarians (Asnah Yuliana, S.H., Mujiati, M.E., Eny Supriati, S.IP., M.Pd., Antis Rachmawati, S.Sos., Fransisca Puspitasari, S.I.Pust., and Dwi Eliana Sari, S.IP.) and a library manager (Ali Mustofa, M.E.), conducted a Library Tour visit to UIN Jakarta Library to see firsthand the digital innovations that have been implemented there (UIN Jakarta).
The visit was warmly welcomed by Agus Rifai, Ph.D., Head of UIN Jakarta Library, who introduced the latest digital innovations. One of the highlights of the visit was AI-ChatLibrary, an artificial intelligence-based virtual assistant that helps visitors access information quickly and efficiently. In addition, the group also learned about the ‘Touch & Go Mobile Library’ Digital Library system to the integration of e-resources that facilitate access to information for students and researchers.
This visit was not only a knowledge sharing event, but also an inspiration for IAIN Ponorogo Library to implement digital library transformation technology in their library system. “We are very impressed with the advances in digital technology implemented at UIN Jakarta Library. These innovations really open up new insights for us to carry out library development at IAIN Ponorogo,” said Alwan Wibawanto.
This visit opens up opportunities for collaboration between the two libraries in strengthening digital literacy among academics. With these innovations, UIN Jakarta Library not only creates change within the institution, but also inspires other libraries to provide digital technology-based services for increasingly dynamic academic needs.
