Ciputat, 28 March 2024 - UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Library held an Information Literacy Class (1st Series) with the title "Unlock Your Information Access Barriers and Organize Information Easily". This event was held on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 2:30 pm until completion, located on the 7th Floor of UIN Jakarta Library Meeting Room.

This activity aims to provide insight and skills to students, especially those in the final level of study, to make it easier to access and organize information for their final assignment. This event provides a platform for students to improve their information literacy skills, which are very important in completing their academic assignments.

The event was opened with a keynote speech from Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi, S.Ag., S.H., M.H., M.A., Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. In his speech, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi emphasized the importance of information literacy skills in today's digital era and encouraged students to make the most of this opportunity.

Head of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Library, Agus Rifa'i, S.Ag., S.S., M.Ag., Ph.D., also gave a speech in this event. He expressed his hope that this activity can help students overcome various obstacles in accessing information and organizing it more efficiently.

The event featured two expert speakers, Nuryaman, S.Ptk, and Maryulisman, S.IP. Both speakers shared knowledge and practical tips with the participants on how to overcome obstacles in accessing information and organizing it efficiently. They also provided concrete examples and practical steps that students could immediately apply in their final projects.

With this Information Literacy Class activity, it is expected that the students of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta can be more skillful in managing information and successfully complete their final assignments with satisfactory results. (Rizki Mulyarahman)
