Harun Nasution Main Auditorium - UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held Halal Bihalal 1445 H/2024 M with the spirit of togetherness and the ideals of building a global reputation. The event held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the Harun Nasution Main Auditorium became a gathering event for the Big Family of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

With the theme “Knitting Ukhuwah, Achieving Progress: Together Realizing UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta with Global Reputation", the event was attended by lecturers, education staff, students, and alumni of the university. The main speaker in this event was Prof. Drs. H. Mohammad Nasir, Ak., M.Si., Ph.D, who is a figure in the field of education, and has served as Minister of Research Technology and Higher Education in the 2014-2019 period.

In his speech, Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D conveyed the vision of the university's future in the next few years, which will be focused on the concept of Green Campus and strengthening independence.According to him, the success of a university to compete globally is not only determined by academic excellence, but also by the ability to adapt to the environment and ecological sustainability “Asep said”.

Furthermore, digitalization and bureaucratic reform are identified as important agendas to strengthen UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta's position in the international arena.Improving the quality of Human Resources (HR), developing an efficient management system, and expanding cooperation networks are also the focus of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta's itinerary towards sustainable progress.

In addition, the Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta emphasized the importance of working together and sincerity in achieving common goals.“Let us work together with sincerity and strength. Inshallah, we will achieve success in the future and it will be ours,” said Prof. Asep, motivating all attendees to commit to the great vision of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

On this occasion, Prof. Drs. H. Mohammad Nasir, Ak., M.Si., Ph.D, gave an inspirational talk about the importance of strengthening ukhuwah islamiyah in the midst of modern challenges. Prof. Nasir emphasized the important role of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta in producing a generation that is not only superior in the scientific field, but also has high social and moral sensitivity.“Supporting the vision of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta to become an institution with global reputation, we need to establish synergy between science and Islamic values,” said Prof. Nasir.
