UIN Jakarta Library Building, News Online – The Library of the State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has recorded its latest achievement in digital service transformation. As of early August 2025, the number of digital collections at the UIN Jakarta Library has reached 91,855 collections, all of which are accessible anytime and anywhere by the academic community.

Of this total, 88,729 collections are available through the UIN Jakarta Repository channel (https://repository.uinjkt.ac.id/dspace/). Meanwhile, 3,126 e-book collections can be accessed through the ‘Touch & Go Mobile Library' digital platform.

Mudianah Mahmud, S.IP., Coordinator of Collection Development at the UIN Jakarta Library, said that this achievement is part of the library's commitment to providing inclusive and accessible information technology-based services. "We continue to expand access and provide quality scientific resources through digitization. This digital collection is accessible 24 hours a day, ensuring that research, learning, and knowledge development needs are met optimally,” explained Mudianah.

He added that this achievement was the result of collaboration, cross-unit cooperation, and consistency in digitization and improving information technology-based services.

Furthermore, Mudianah said that the collection includes various types of academic works such as theses, dissertations, research reports, journal articles, and e-books from various fields of study.

This increase in the number of digital collections is in line with the transformation of digital-based library services promoted by UIN Jakarta, while also responding to the challenges of the information age, which demands speed and ease of access to scientific literature.
