UIN Jakarta Library releases "Six Popular Books on Politics, Elections and Democracy"

Ciputat, January 25, 2024 - The State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta Library released six book collections relevant to the theme of politics, elections, and democracy. These collections are expected to provide readers with in-depth insights into the political dynamics and democratization process in Indonesia.

One of the highlighted books is "Grounding Election Supervision: A Mosaic of Views and Critical Notes from the Inside" by M. Afiffudin, which offers an in-depth analysis of supervision in the context of elections.

In addition, other books such as "Political Literacy: The Dynamics of Indonesian Democracy Consolidation after Reform" by Gun Gun Heryanto, and "Structuring Democracy & Elections in Post-Reform Indonesia" by Ni'matul Huda and M. Imam Nasef, also enrich the availability of literature on the Indonesian political system.

Other books in this release include Wilma Silalahi's "Democracy, Regional Elections and the Resolution of Regional Election Results in the Constitutional Court", Khairul Fahmi's "Restrictions on Citizens' Voting Rights", and "Elections in Indonesia: Institutionalization, Implementation and Oversight" by Topo Santoso and Ida Budhiati, all of which provide in-depth analysis of important aspects of Indonesia's democratic process.

Head of UIN Jakarta Library, Agus Rifai, revealed that this initiative aims to enrich the literature on politics for students, academics, and the general public. "We hope this collection can make a meaningful contribution in deepening understanding of important political issues in the country," said Agus Rifai.

UIN Jakarta Library also emphasizes its commitment to continue supporting the development of political literacy among the younger generation as well as facilitating ongoing intellectual discussions on crucial issues in contemporary politics. "These books are expected to be a source of inspiration and knowledge for readers who are interested in understanding the current development of Indonesian politics." Agus added.
