Library Laboratory Room UIN Jakarta, News Online – The Library of the State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta reaffirmed its commitment to improving services and strengthening synergy between units by holding a ‘Coordination Meeting’ on Friday (04/07) at the Laboratory Room on the 3rd floor of the UIN Jakarta Library.

The meeting, which was attended by all librarians and service unit managers, was moderated by Heru Widodo, S.IP., as the Reader Services Coordinator, who opened the discussion and facilitated the exchange of ideas between librarians and service managers.

In his speech and guidance delivered directly by the Head of the UIN Jakarta Library, Agus Riafi, Ph.D., he emphasized the importance of building synergy and active communication between departments as the key to realizing optimal and adaptive library services in the digital age. "The library is not only a place to store books, but also a center for service innovation and campus literacy development. For this reason, we need synergy, openness, and a collaborative spirit,” Agus Rifai stressed.

In addition to discussing the evaluation of services for the first semester of 2025, this meeting also served as a strategic forum for developing future work plans, including strengthening information literacy, expanding access to digital collections, and utilizing technology to support the teaching and learning process on campus.

Not only discussing technical matters, this forum also serves as a platform for aligning visions, especially in responding to the challenges of technology-based academic services and the ever-evolving needs of library users.

With a spirit of synergy and collaboration that continues to be echoed, the UIN Jakarta Library is ready to take a more progressive step as the forefront of campus literacy and a strategic partner in supporting the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education). *RMr
