UIN Jakarta Library, News Online, September 03, 2024 - Still in a series of activities of Introduction to Academic and Student Culture (PBAK) 2024, new students of Faculty of Ushuluddin get special briefing on access and use of services and facilities of UIN Jakarta Library. This activity aims to introduce and motivate new students to optimally utilize access, services and facilities of UIN Jakarta Library.

Agus Rifai, Ph.D., Head of UIN Jakarta Library in his speech emphasized the importance of the library's role in supporting the learning process. “UIN Jakarta Library is a center of intellectual activity and a very important resource. We provide a variety of services and access to collections that will help you achieve academic success,” Rifai said enthusiastically.

In addition, Agus Rifai also emphasized the importance of utilizing access to book collections, journals, and digital services provided by UIN Jakarta Library. “We at UIN Jakarta Library are committed to supporting students' learning process by providing various quality resources. So, take advantage of all the access, services and facilities we offer, ranging from book borrowing services, access to academic databases and digital book collections, to comfortable reading rooms,” said Agus Rifai.

This activity was attended by all new students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin for the 2024/2025 academic year, which was divided into nine sessions every day, until September 13, 2024. Various materials, ranging from the introduction to the use of libraries, online catalogs (OPAC), access to e-resources, to references management tools. In addition to the presentation of material that will be delivered by UIN Jakarta Librarians, new students are immediately practiced on how to use it.

With this introduction, students are expected to optimally utilize the services and facilities of UIN Jakarta Library and support their academic success while studying at UIN Jakarta. In addition, PBAK 2024 UIN Jakarta this year will continue until November 23, 2024, with various other interesting activities that aim to equip new students with the knowledge and skills needed during their studies.
