UIN Jakarta Library, News Online - In a series of Information Literacy Orientation activities held on Wednesday (4/9), UIN Jakarta Librarian, Maryulisman, emphasized the importance of the library's role in supporting timely graduation for new students. The event, which took place in the Hall of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, carried the theme “Library Services in Supporting the Academic Community” and was attended by all new students.

In his presentation, Maryulisman emphasized that the library is an invaluable resource for students in completing their studies. “Want to graduate on time? It's impossible to achieve if you don't utilize the library,” he said in front of hundreds of students who enthusiastically participated in this activity. He explained that the library not only provides access to various academic literature, but also becomes a center for guidance and assistance in completing the final project or thesis.

Maryulisman also introduced various library services that can be utilized by students, including e-resources services, information literacy guidance, and a comfortable reading room that supports the learning process. “Students must be proactive in utilizing existing facilities. We at the library are always ready to help and support your every academic need,” he added.

This Information Literacy Orientation is one of the library's efforts to introduce its services and facilities to new students, so that they can make the most of the library during their studies. Hopefully, with this activity, new students can better understand the importance of information literacy in supporting their academic success at UIN Jakarta.
