UIN Jakarta Library Building, News Online – In an effort to enhance the quality of academic services on campus, the Head of the General Administration and Human Resources Bureau (AUK) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Dr. Nanang Fatchurochman, M.Pd., conducted a direct inspection of the facilities and infrastructure (sarpras) of the UIN Jakarta Library on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Accompanying him in the activity was Abdul Halim Mahmudi, S.H.I., from the UIN Jakarta Household Subdivision, who is also responsible for managing campus facilities.

This visit was focused on seeing firsthand and ensuring that all facilities at the UIN Jakarta Library can support optimal service for the academic community. Starting from the collection area, reading room, collection preservation room, digital access facilities, to the service room, each area was highlighted one by one to ensure the comfort of the UIN Jakarta academic community.

“This visit is important to ensure that all existing facilities and infrastructure truly support optimal service. The library is the academic heart of the campus, so it must continue to be improved,” said Dr. Nanang while reviewing the collection service floor.

The Head of the AUK Bureau also emphasized the importance of regular maintenance and updating of infrastructure, in line with the spirit of digital transformation promoted by the campus. According to him, the library should be an inclusive, adaptive, and inspiring space for the entire academic community.

This review is expected to encourage the acceleration of facility improvements and upgrades, in line with the increasing need for digital literacy and quality academic resources on campus.

“Optimizing library services is not only about the physical building, but also how we facilitate learning, research, and digital exploration in this day and age,” added Dr. Nanang while reviewing the library facilities.

With direct attention from the head of the AUK Bureau, UIN Jakarta has further strengthened its commitment to providing library services that are not only comprehensive, but also adaptable to the challenges of the times. *RMr
