The UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Library will receive a visit from the Andalas University Library UPT in the context of a Comparative Study and Cooperation Exploration activity scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 9, 2026.

This activity is part of an effort to strengthen networks between university libraries while opening up opportunities for collaboration in developing information services, digital transformation, and improving the quality of library management.

During the visit, the Andalas University Library UPT delegation will discuss and share best practices related to various aspects of library management, including the development of digital services, institutional repository management, information literacy programs, services to library users, and the development of library human resource (HR) competencies.

In addition to being a forum for exchanging experiences, this agenda is also expected to be the first step in building sustainable institutional cooperation between the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Library and the Andalas University Library UPT, particularly in developing service innovations, increasing librarian capacity, and collaboration on academic and information literacy programs.

The UIN Jakarta Library welcomed this visit as part of its commitment to continue expanding collaboration, sharing innovations, and providing library services that are adaptive to technological developments and the needs of the academic community.
