UIN Jakarta Library News Online - Ciputat, Friday June 2024, in an effort to raise awareness of the importance of cleanliness, UIN Jakarta Library held a Juma't Bersih activity with the theme "Start from Ourselves". This activity was initiated by the UIN Jakarta Library Cleaning Team consisting of Effendi, Sayuti, Wahyu Hidayat, Suwitno, Sukarto, dan Rahmat Illahi.

This Juma't Bersih activity involves active participation from other library managers who participate in cleaning the outside area of the library environment. The main focus of cleaning includes the parking area, lobby, stairs, and balconies of each floor in the UIN Jakarta Library building.
Suwitno, one of the members of the cleaning team of UIN Jakarta Library, revealed that this activity aims to foster a culture of cleanliness among the academic community of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. "We want everyone, both students, education staff and lecturers, to realize that the importance of environmental cleanliness starts from ourselves. That way, we can create a comfortable and healthy environment for all of us," he said.

Sayuti added, "We routinely conduct this activity, especially by the UIN Jakarta Library Cleaning Team. We hope this activity can be an example for other units at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta to hold similar activities. Cleanliness is our shared responsibility, and by working together, we can achieve maximum results."

The enthusiasm was evident from the participation of other UIN Jakarta Library Managers who helped in this activity. Agus Rifa'i (Head of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Library Jakarta) expressed his gratitude to all cleaning teams and UIN Jakarta library managers who have volunteered their time and energy to support Juma't Bersih activities. "Good cooperation between the Cleaning Team and other Library Managers to support and create a clean and comfortable environment," said Agus.

In addition to cleaning the outside area, this activity is also expected to increase the sense of concern and individual responsibility for the cleanliness of the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Campus environment. Thus, hygiene literacy can grow and develop among the academic community of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
Sukarto, and Rahmat Illahi also voiced the same hope, that this Juma't Bersih activity could be sustainable and become part of the routine in the campus environment. "By routinely doing cleaning activities like this, we not only maintain cleanliness but also strengthen the sense of togetherness and mutual cooperation among all of us," said Rahmat Illahi.

The warmth and togetherness in this Juma't Bersih activity ends with breakfast together from all cleaning teams and UIN Jakarta library managers, hoping that this activity can be an inspiration that can have a positive impact on the environment of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Campus to always maintain cleanliness, comfort and tidiness.
