UIN Jakarta Student Affairs Building, News Online, August 30, 2024 - Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta held the Introduction of Academic Culture and Student Affairs (PBAK) 2024 for four days, (Tuesday-Jum'at/27-30 August 2024) led by the Chairman of the Committee, Salamah Agung, Ph.D. This activity aims to prepare new students to be more prepared, adaptive, and innovative in facing the academic world.

Salamah Agung expressed her gratitude to all elements of UIN Jakarta leadership, lecturers, education staff and students who have worked hard to succeed this 'General Orientation of PBAK 2024' activity. “Thank you to all parties who have provided full support in organizing the 'General Orientation of PBAK 2024' this year. The success of this activity cannot be separated from our hard work and commitment together. We apologize for any imperfections that may have occurred during the 4 days of this activity,” said Salamah Agung, when met at the student affairs building.

During these four days, new students are given various materials that include an introduction to campus services, academic knowledge, as well as spiritual and psychological strengthening. “The general orientation activities of PBAK UIN Jakarta 2024 are designed to ensure that new students can adapt quickly to the campus environment, understand the prevailing academic values, and build a strong foundation for their academic journey at UIN Jakarta,” said Salamah Agung, who is also the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Cooperation of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Keguruan (FITK) UIN Jakarta.

“With this PBAK 2024 General Orientation activity, we hope that new students will not only get to know the campus environment, but also be able to adapt well, but also have a strong mentality and high enthusiasm to innovate in the future,” said Salamah Agung with great enthusiasm and high optimism.
